Our hashtag #nofussweddingphotos gives you some indication of our ethos. Our photography has evolved & continues to do so whilst staying true to our photographic roots. As the Founder of Evolve I learnt my trade in the darkroom, as well as shooting film photography. While many other photographers in this digital age have come to photography late from other careers I have always been a professional photographer from the day I left school. This has given me and my business a grounding in the very fundamentals of photography and much more experience than most.
Aside from shooting over 1500 weddings I have had work published in among others; The Times, The Guardian, Digital Camera Magazine, Practical Photography, TES, RED Magazine, Cosmo-Girl, OK Magazine, The Observer Magazine, Sunday Times, and on Channel 4 T.V, 5 Live Radio, exhibited in The Photographers Gallery & in many trade magazines.
I also founded & co-run Devon Photography School
with the aim of providing photographic education for beginners to mentoring professional photographers. I have also given talks to many camera clubs and judged contests.
Our passion for photography is paramount & if you too appreciate good photography not masked by filters, Photoshop or fancy tricks then I think we will get on just fine!
to develop or cause to develop gradually
Using top of the range cameras and lenses we aim to provide high quality wedding photography for discerning couples.
Our photos are sharp, natural and timeless with no tricks or effects to date them.
To provide approximately 600-1000 high resolution images per wedding,
ALL of which the couple can keep.
We work quickly & effectively to ensure our couples wedding day isn't just a photo-shoot & that they have plenty of time with their guests.
Using experience, planning & our vast knowledge of weddings to preempt situations & respond quickly to capture the narrative of the wedding day, not contrive it.
Our prices start at just £675 & are dependent on how long you would like us for!
We don't do it for awards, accolade, or to become rich, we do it because there is nothing more rewarding than providing beautiful photos that a couple were unaware of being taken.
To be a real part of a couples wedding day, to help & guide if needed but above all to capture everything that passes so quickly.
